Rules of Conduct
Four Paws® dogs are required to follow certain rules of conduct while out with their groups. Some of these rules include:
- Dogs must be on leash to and from car.
- Aggression and bullying are not permitted.
- While off leash, dogs must stay within ball-throwing distance of their walker.
- Dogs are required to sit quietly while in the car on the way to and from their walk.
-
Incessant barking while on the walks in discouraged.
We also require appropriate behavior when in the proximity of people, horses and other distractions.
The dogs are encouraged to have fun in the safest way possible while not endangering themselves or others. We have found that almost all of our new clients become accustomed to these policies after a week or two of outings with their friends.
Because of our years of exerience, we are able to provide basic obedience training to dogs of all ages, starting during their very first walk. For some dogs this will be a brush-up on what they have been taught; for others it is a whole new start.
